Hello everyone,
Last night while attempting to remove the fork seals from my front right lower case (51420-MW3-A41), the seals got stuck and I wasn't able to get them out without ruining the right lower case. With this being the situation, I'm on the look out to replace the right lower case, as well as a couple other components in the right fork. I'm trying to figure out what fork components are compatible with the 1996 forks.
For the 1995 model, the fork model # is 51400-MW3-A21.
For the 1996 model, the fork model # is 51400-MW3-A41.
For the 1997 model, the fork model # is 51400-MW3-A42.
Are there any characteristic differences between the fork models? Can I use the fork lowers from one of these model years on my bike? If anyone has some insight, I'd really appreciate it.
