I have a 1995 Cb750 replaced the starter chain and tensioner. Replace piston rings base gaskets yadayada put the cams all on got in time. T on crank Ex and In on top head. Rolled it over several times the marks are on point. But I flipped the engine over to pull the bottom case back off to put the trans in and saw the chain guide is hitting the stater tensioner guide maybe not hitting buy very close to each other. Know I remember trying put the guide in front before putting head on it wouldn't go on kept picking up the guide out it's slot. So I figured it's got to go to the back engine. It all works. I don't get it I have the head off again trying get front guide in the front again with no luck. Won't go on. Any help here??? I thought maybe I have the cylinders backwards but the dowels are correct go into head so that's right. Idk
