Hello guys,

Im having problem keeping my bike running I removed the airbox and put some carb cleaner in the opening to see If I can get it running. It shot strong but started to die out after a few seconds. I have a video attached too. We have fuel going through the tank but when I hold my hand over the carbs I get no gas on my hand for each carb. Also I've notice that the fuel line from the tank comes to this part of the carbs listed as part 6 on the last link posted.

That part #6 is well known for making that problem, not getting fuel past it. It's a vacuum demand valve that opens with engine turning to make a vacuum, but when they get old they won't open and no fuel then. You can take fuel line from tank directly to carbs to skip it but you need to learn to turn the petcock off when bike sits or the engine may flood to hydrolock and destroy it. Why Honda stated using that valve, they went through a rash of engine fails due to people not turning the fuel off.

I tried the the fuel line to carb method and still didnt get anything. Looks like I'll have to take off the carbs and go from there. Anyway to get the carbs off with easy, its really stuck on their. And any rebuild kits you would recommend? Also the carbs is a VB 44A

Thank again!
