On the carb the main fuel line is between carb1 and 2. There in another hose between carb 2 and 3. Should that be connected to something? or is it a breather line?

Between carbs two and three that plastic t fitting on my 750 c had about a six inch piece of rubber tubing that came straight up and curved back. It clipped into the notch next to the choke cable lock down. I am new to this bike only had it three months and rebuilt the carbs after it was sitting for 14 years.
