After a little troubleshooting I have one wire left with no home. It is located very near the 30 AMP fuse under the left cover. Please see next post I screwed up.

My post got messed up. The wire is green in color and is about 4" long and runs vertically to a harness that runs to the front and to the rear of the bike. I have ignition and all lights work OK. I don't want to cut the harness wrapping if I don't have to.

Thanks for any and all help.

That wire goes to nowhere. It is connected to ground somewhere. If you need a ground connection in that area for some mod in the future, use that wire. This unconnected wire is a running joke among CB dual cam owners. Best explanation for it that I've heard is that it was intended for a three wire signal flasher, but then Honda decided to use a two wire flasher. :umm::shrug:

When I retaped my harness after going through all the soldered joints under the tape I just taped over this wire so it's there if needed but won't confuse any future owners :) . When I opened up my harness I found wires changing colour from end to end now that was confusing!!
