I think it’s just oil. I’ll go into the garage and try to clean um and post more pictures

It was definitely just a bit of oil splatter. It came right off easy. The surface looks and feels flush. I couldn’t find any gouges or anything.

How are the cylinders?
I currently need to decide whether to Bore/Hone mine and upgrade to 65mm pistons or find a good condition stock head.

I’m not too sure. I’m relatively new to motorcycles. From what I know, the heads seem to be in good condition.
