Hey guys, I'm building a cafe bike out of a 78 CB750K. I'm looking to clean everything up and replace the keyed ignition switch witth a toggle switch. I have the plug from the bike and was wanting to know what wires I need to hook to the switch and how many terminals I need on my new ignition switch. I don't care about the 'park' feature or anything like that. I just want to flip the switch and the hit the factory start button and be off. Thanks a lot guys.

The 77 and 78 are nearly (maybe exactly) identical:
Here is an interactive wiring diagram for a 71' CB750. Very close to the later models, even though there are differences, the principals are the same. This one is cool because you can isolate individual circuits:

If you are going to do custom wiring then I would suggest getting to know the existing wiring first. Creating your own wiring diagram would be a good idea so you can refer to it when troubleshooting electrical problems in the future...
