Hey guys - first post! I had an extra tach from a cb750k lying around and decided to try to install it on my 750A, thinking that it would install the same way, using the same cable. The A has a metal plug in the tach hole on top of the engine, installed with the same screw that would hold a cable in place, but when I hooked everything up I'm not getting a reading on the tach. Removing the cable from the tach gauge showed me the wire inside wasn't spinning, meaning either I did something wrong when I installed the motor end, or there isn't actually a mechanical output at that location on the A? I've put the bike away for winter now so double checking my install would be awkward, but I'm wondering if anybody knows if this is a doable thing in the first place? Thanks
