Hello gents. I’m wondering if anybody has a ‘76 specifically, or 75-78 750F tank for sale. Thanks!

'77', '78' won't fit a '76' totally different shape & mounts. I have a '76' myself. Left side only petcock as well.

Hey PWBII, if you could expand on your thoughts. When I'm looking around on eBay and such for a tank, I see some of these 750F tanks are being listed as for '75-'78 bikes. Do you know why that is? Are they incorrect in thinking the tanks are universal? Is it possible to say fit a '78 tank on a '76 frame if you bought the '78 mounts? Besides being period correct, (which I'm not concerned with) does it matter which side the petcock is mounted on? I appreciate your knowledge......
