My brother gave me a 1974 CB750 that's been sitting for years. The last registration tag was 1997. I've never been around them much but have always admired them, they came out when I was still in high school. I was riding a Honda 305 scrambler at the time.

I haven't had a chance to start disassembly on it yet, I plan on restoring it as it looks like it is in good shape overall.

One thing I noticed was the exhaust openings look like they're missing an end plate/cap or something. I checked for pics online and in this forum but was unable to find anything definitive.

Could someone more knowledgeable chime in?

Regards,
Dan

People used to remove them to make more noise . Places like bussa or yamiya might sell them , otherwise you could be outa luck unless someone has and old rotten set of pipes they will seperate

That should be them . Your bikes pipes will be stamped HM341 and I think HM300 on early bikes . Just make sure it is the same
