Hello Fellow CB750 forum members,

I'm currently semi-restoring a 1971 Honda CB750K and could you some advise from all the experts here. I prefer the the 1972 rear fender with the 2 point fender mount. Does the 1972 fender fit on the 1971 fender with the one point fender mount. Thanks, Sunny

The 1972 rear fender mounting holes are the same as the 1971 rear fender. What is different is the tail light bracket. The 71 bike uses the perch style mount which has 3 holes about halfway down. The 72 uses the larger 4 hole tail light bracket which has 2 holes towards the top and 2 holes about halfway down. The later rear fender will bolt up to a 71 frame with no issues but you have to use the later tail light bracket.
