1970 or 71 CB750? K0 or K1?

I just bought this from an old friend who has had it for many years. Is it a 1970, or 1971? K0 or K1? Build date is 8/70. VIN IS CB750-10529xx. He was told it was purchased new in Feb 1971, so titled as a 71.

Left sidecover is cracked, so looking for one in orig paint. I have an extra RH side cover for trade. Jim 360-600-6388

71 K1 by the serial number. Check ebay for side cover might get lucky.

When you get another side cover spray just a little wd40 in the rubber grommets .

Many manufacturers use August or September as the pivot date for the next yea's production models. Some states assign a year when the paper work is turned in.
