If the casing looks like sand or inside or under gass tank has what looks like ribs.
It maybe a sandcast bike.
It would be worth alot more then 3 times what a reguler 750 would run.

I am selling my dad’s 1970 cb750 that has always been stored inside and has not been ran since 1987.
It stopped running in 87 and it was never looked at and has sat since.

I don’t know if this would be a parts bike or if someone would like to get it going again.
The inside of the gas tank looks clean and the engine turns over with the kick starter.
We haven’t been able to find the keys yet but I do have the title.

I don’t know the value so I am here looking for help on that.

Dad wants to see this bike get back to the CB750 enthusiast community whether it’s restored or as original parts to keep other bikes going.

Thanks for your help.
Your bike looks like it is a Sandcast 750. It could be worth a lot more than a regular 750. Get it appraised before you sell it.

Some owners of sandcast engines where asked if they wanted a new casing stamped with the engine ser # stamped on it.
So still sandcast but with a replaced casing.

If you need a better picture or of anything specific just let me know.
Thanks. From these pictures, it seems like the engine might not be a sandcast engine, although all of the other indicators are of a sandcast bike. If the castings are smooth to the touch, rather than grainy like sand, it isn't a sandcast.

I still recommend having the bike appraised before selling it. If the engine turns out to be a sandcast, the bike could be worth $50,000 to $100,000. I would take it to at least 2 Honda dealers to get it appraised. But don't sell it to a dealer, they will always give you the lowest price for the bike.
