Gear shift gets stuck intermittingly on downshifting, why???

So my gear shift likes to "hang up" or gets stuck when down shifting, mainly from 2nd to 1st. It's very intermittent. So, as if I'm in 2nd, I try to down shift and it doesn't want to go in 1st, if anything, it wants to go down to neutral, if you try again, doesn't want to go into 1st. Almost...

I have developed this bike as a tribute bike, but after spending 7 years with this bike in...

    1980 CB750k Battery

Hey all, I've got a quick question regarding batteries. I was wondering how the DOHC would handle a 12V-10AH SLA battery? I understand the factory specs are 12V-14AH however the sizing of the 10AH battery just works much better for my build. This one specifically...

Is the Clymer service manual adequate?

Is the Clymer service manual adequate? I know it isn't as good as a Honda OEM service manual but will it be adequate for minor maintenance? You know, oil/filter changes, wheel removal, etc.. Nothing real technical. I'm thinking about purchasing a 1999 CB750 Nighthawk.
