dohc clutch

Hi all, I’ve been slowly restoring an old 1982 cb750 and am on to the clutch. The current clutch friction plates are bad and the steels are rusty. I got a Barnett kit (dohc-ep1 from Dynoman) and noticed none of the friction plates were like the front friction plate. Is that an issue?
