    New to the Forum

Stock look is great IMO, I don't like to spend money on making some old stuff looks new, rather spend money to make it work new. I do not have a lot of play money, have to pick and choose. Great progress looking at your pics, thank you for sharing!

    Gaiters on newer bike

Thanks for your info Gunr. I had since checked online and yeah, the headlight ears are different from later models, pricey items too so I gave up on the gaiters look. I also just ignored the gouge and just put new seals in, no leaks so far. Works great. Thanks again.

Another Fork Seal thread - 1981 CB750K DOHC

Noob here, I am doing fork seals right now. Learning stuff on this site and came across this thread. The 1st 2 pics of the forks are the little gouges you talking about? You mean you JB welded the seals outer into the forks? They don't look too bad to me and gouge lines are not all the way up...

Yeah you don't need the O/W connected, pull it out and tape it up. Just need the Orange and ground to run a signal.

My tail light fuse blows as soon as I turn on the ignition...

Do you have a wiring diagram? For just the ignition switch, even if no diagram, it's just continuity check with a meter, one end to the juice side, check each wire at different click.
