    Question about headlight.

I have a 1973 cb750k. I went on a trip and it rained for two days straight. This caused a problem with handle bar switches. So I bought new ones for both sides. Put them on and every thing works but the head light. Since my bike is old enough so the headlight does not come on automatically I was...

I left for trip from south of Dayton Oh to Birmingham AL. It was pouring down raining when I left, and it continued to rain until I stopped for the night east of Chatanooga, TN. It did stop long enough for me to set up my tent but started pouring down again. The next morning it was misty and...

    Is it the Charging Rotor?

I was having similar problems but I saw a video that stated most of the charging problems on the old cb750's were caused by the voltage regulator. I took out the voltage regulator and cleaned the points inside. Then adjusted the regulator. That solved the problem. Try that first before you start...

    Valve Cover Cap

I recently had something happen to me that had never occurred before. I was out riding my 1973 CB750K . I stopped for lunch and my left leg of my jeans was soaked with oil. I looked and found the cap that allows you to adjust the valves on the outside cylinder was gone. I was a more than 100...

    Strange missing

I have a 1973 CB750. I have recently ran into a problem in how it acts like it is not getting enough fuel. I can start riding and it runs fine. Starts right up and purrs for awhile. Then it starts acting like it is not getting enough fuel. Sometimes it will run like that for a short time then go...
