Hey gang! I’m working on my trike project and finished getting my seat hinges and pins in so the seat opens and closes back down on the frame but I noticed on the underside of the seat pan there are two small threaded rods that stick out I’m assuming these are for the seat lock ? But not...

Going to re powdercoat them along with the frame with my local guy just disappointing you spend that kind of money and that’s what they send out with their name on it..

Side covers arrived along with fender eliminator with license plate / working on mounting the forward controls yet disappointed with the “powdercoating” on the brackets and hardware on the tc bros controls just flakes off with my fingers.. pissed

Rear end finally finished now into mock-up and forward controls install

Previous owner was a big guy 400+ pounds sheared right off..

I think your absolutely right I’m planning on welding a small tube bar between the upper shock mounts to stiffen it up might be a smart move too..

Anyone have any experience with these ? Or better off just welding some threaded rod? Thanks!

New seat came in today along with the all balls racing neck bearings for my springer shocks as well another piece to the puzzle..

TC bros forward controls and linkage kit arrived today so working on mock-up next

Lol I need someone to make a replica set of drag pipes as I have never bent pipe No one around Toledo where I’m from works with 1 7/8 tubing apparently

Since the 4-4 pipes from macs aren’t available I’m running them wrapped until I can find a pair or someone starts pumping them out again (fingers crossed). Biggest step next up for me is mounting my rear brake master cylinder and waiting for forward controls from tc cycles to arrive to start...

Todays progress officially a roller

Need to add new studs and attach drums and bolt wheels on and rear end is a roller!

Front end parts arrived this week waiting on bearing then assemble/ gotta order forward controls and figure out rear brake master cylinder and mock-up!

Been debating of how feasible to swap to 1” inch bar on my springer front end and go Harley controls and cables etc? Anyone done the swap ?

Waiting on delivery sometime this week

Cleaning up pipes the best I can gotta grind out some bad welds on the brackets and guessing I’m going to have to wrap as I can’t find a better set anywhere yet on the hunt!
