Best options for spoke wheels on 79 cb750?

Not to hijack, but I've heard that these wheels are also a direct swap for the '82 CB750C (Custom), and other bikes in that model year range. This true? If so, I have some options instead of the stars I've got.

1982 CB750C fork oil conflicting fill amounts?

Looked through Clymer book again, found another set of fill values (172-177cc). First two images from Clymer, third from PDF shared around here, addendum workshop manual.

1982 CB750C fork oil conflicting fill amounts?

Quick question so I can finish the forks on my 1982 Honda CB750C Custom. Just got progressive springs from the VintageCB750 website, and cut spacers to length to match stock. Also had them powdercoated black. I have a Clymer's book that only states 155cc of fork oil is needed, no indication...

    Will a CB650C MAC 4-into-1 Exhaust fit on a same year CB750C?

Quick question for y'all! Found a for sale post on Facebook of a Mac 4-into-1 Exhaust with competition baffle that was originally on an '82 CB650C. Looks like a great deal for ~$100, since my Mac 2-into-2 is falling apart and rattling from the inside, an PO did not give me the original. Would...

Almost done with project 1982 CB750C, looking for final elements/advice

At the end of 2021, I traded an unused Macbook Air for a decent 1982 CB750C with title and all, got it registered under my name and off to the races. I went through some carb trouble, fought drivetrain elements, and, everyone's favorite, electrical gremlins. Summer of 2022, I slapped on a new...

    For Sale - WTB - 1982 CB750C Sissybar/Backrest

Looking to get a backrest/sissybar for my 750C so the girlfriend can take a lean back every once in a while. I know a couple of them even had the added rack with them, so that'd be great! Located in Portland, OR for meetup/shipping.

'82 CB 750C Silly mistake - shorted and blew main fuse, now won't start

I was getting my 1982 CB750C all buttoned up after getting some light maintenance done for the riding season, and I made a stupid mistake: when plugging in my 2-prong flasher relay back into its location, I plugged in the green (ground) wire instead of the grey signal cable. Heard a click when...

    Opinions on Murray's Carbs?

Looks like they aren't active much here, I already asked the same thing a month ago hah.

Update on 1982 CB750c Carb Rebuild - New Carbs?

Happen to have a link? Seeing some random reviews for most.

Update on 1982 CB750c Carb Rebuild - New Carbs?

Interesting, now it's running straight to 4k rpm off the bat. Might be right on the boots.

Update on 1982 CB750c Carb Rebuild - New Carbs?

The end connected to the engine, or Airbox for replacements. I did that already and no change, might need to do it more extensively.

    Hanging throttle/high idle

Any update on this? I'm having a similar problem with idling and already disassembled the carbs 3 times and getting a bit impatient.

Update on 1982 CB750c Carb Rebuild - New Carbs?

Received carbs, placed in new parts, grabbed missing ones from the old carbs... Everything went by swimmingly. Now, after touching the throttle, it hangs at 4k RPM. Cables are good (nothing stuck, or too tight), did the carb cleaner/boot test and rpm was unaffected, Pilot Sync Screws are all...

82 CB750C - High Idle after touching throttle, no spawn of satan?

Switched up the jets... Still idling at ~4k rpm after touching the throttle. Any and all advice is appreciated!

82 CB750C - High Idle after touching throttle, no spawn of satan?

Looks like I did a little bit of a swap, and put in the 102's on main and 68's on secondary. Will report back after slapping them back in the correct space.

82 CB750C - High Idle after touching throttle, no spawn of satan?

Hey all, I received the replacement set of carbs from eBay, cannibalized the original set and set up the new one on the bike. Fired up instantly, few pops, but smoothed out after adjusting the rod with black knob at the "bottom" of the carbs (idle screw?). Problem is, when I touch the...

Update on 1982 CB750c Carb Rebuild - New Carbs?

Found this: https://www.ebay.com/itm/324772553187 The floats on here look different than mine, but I think the "missing parts" on it are able to be cannibalized from my current non-working set. Do you know what rebuild kit would fit the bill on these? I'll spring for these, get the bike...

Wanted - 1982 CB750C compatible carbs (possibly borrow?)

Need some carbs to fully test out my project 1982 CB750C (DOHC) before committing to buy a set of Murray's Carbs (Mikuni VM34's) or Dynoman's Keihin CR31's. Open to anything compatible, not sure what the market is for the OEM-Alternatives is. If you happen to have a spare set that you don't...

Update on 1982 CB750c Carb Rebuild - New Carbs?

Pretty much all I could find on FB Marketplace (using girlfriend's account), and Craigslist. Did see these as well, but for an '81 CB650 Have compression tester coming in tomorrow, to double check. Bike runs, just spewed gas, so ultimately not well. Might just skip stock and grab the CR's.

Update on 1982 CB750c Carb Rebuild - New Carbs?

I'm not seeing many in Portland, or at least not what my untrained eyes are finding. Should I stick with the same model or can I get away with anything else?

Update on 1982 CB750c Carb Rebuild - New Carbs?

Got it, I did see a few posts regarding the dual Mikuni carbs setup getting around 10hp loss. Not a ton, but still loss. Got around to a compression check, oil was fine, and everything else is ready to roll, just need to carb this baby up. Any recommendations for 4-stack carb replacements? Did...

Update on 1982 CB750c Carb Rebuild - New Carbs?

To recap: got an '82 CB750C project to work on, traded a laptop I didn't use, and ~$30 for a uHaul trailer. Sweet deal in my books. First off- cleaned, took things apart, secured everything else, and attempted to start 'er up: engine would only run on Choke, and spewed gas from carb 2/3 area...
