    Need Help Identifying Rims

They are pretty cool, I'm starting to realize how special they might be. I was able to source a m52 x 1.5mm tap for cheap so I should be able to fix those threads properly. Once I get that sorted, I'll get those tires off and see if there any markings on the wheels to hopefully figure out...

    Need Help Identifying Rims

Good news, I drilled a bunch more holes and was able to pry it out finally. Like I had thought, I did mess up some of the threads, but it actually doesn't look too bad and might be something I can repair myself. I need to explore my options. That's good to know that it is probably a Honda OEM...

    Need Help Identifying Rims

No, I don't think I need it. I don't have exact measurements of it so I kind of hoped I could get it out in a somewhat recognizable state. You're right though, I should just keep drilling holes in it and try to pry off some chunks of it.

    Need Help Identifying Rims

Well, I was extremely unsuccessful at getting the retainer out. It is really in there. I got as good of a socket made as I could manage, gave it heat and penetrating oil, but it easily got stripped out. I then decided to drill and tap a couple holes to thread bolts into and try to pry off of...

    Need Help Identifying Rims

Nice, that is some very helpful information. I'll have to figure something out to get a good grab on that ring and hope I don't strip it out. You're probably right about where the wheels come from as well, that makes the most sense to me. I wonder if there's any markings on the rim under the...

    Need Help Identifying Rims

Hello everyone, I've got a 1976 CB750F with unknown, to me, rims on it. I've spent hours trying to figure out what they are exactly or what they come off of, but I can't figure it out. I'm curious if anyone on here recognizes them? The front wheel is 19 inches and the rear is 18. There's an...

    CB750F1 Unknown Rims

Most charts I've found say that 5.10 is equivalent to 130/90, but I have found a few that say 120/90 so I'm going to assume it would fit fine. Makes more sense that these wheels are stock sizes. Still curious what they are if anyone who stumbles across this knows.

    CB750F1 Unknown Rims

Hello everyone, I've got a 76 CB750F that has mag rims that I'm assuming are off of a different bike or are aftermarket and haven't aged well. I can't seem to find these rims anywhere and I'm mainly just curious if anyone recognizes them or knows of a good way to figure this out? I'm also...

Starter and Alternator Cover Oil Leak

Hello everyone, I need to replace the starter cover and alternator cover gaskets on my 76 cb750f and I was curious if I put the bike on the center stand and take the cover off, how much oil if any will come out? This isn't a job I need to drain the oil for is it? I tried my best to find the...

CB750F1 Torque Link Hardware and Other Questions

So I found where that horseshoe plate hooks up, I was looking on the wrong side of the bike. I would have never guessed that spring and plate hook up on opposite sides of the center stand. Thanks for the help guys.

CB750F1 Torque Link Hardware and Other Questions

Hello everyone, I recently bought a 76 CB750F that is, unfortunately, missing some important hardware. I am missing parts 48, 28, 63, and 62 in the first attachment. These parts are the mounting hardware for the rear caliper torque link. I'm missing that hardware for the front mount and I can...
