i used a clear i got from Genteel Coatings called "Opulence" and added a bunch of gold pearl i got on ebay. i then added just a tad of xirallic black and blasted away.

no, i recently sold my Seca750 and it sounded really nice. so nice in fact a harley guy commented to me how good it sounded and it ran great. i blew off a new big-inch Superglide with it. you just have to know how to properly rejet the carbs.

agreed with posts above. remove the petcock and fuel screen and clean. while you have it out, take the petcock apart and make sure that the gaskets are intact and passages are open.

i could just run a 12v wire from the battery to the 12v coil wire as a test, right? which is the hot lead to the coils? there's a connector with three wires if i remember correctly.. thanks!

OK, i now have spark on all four BUT it looks a bit weak. it archs about 1/4" . last night i tried to get it to pop with starting fluid but failed.

yes, it has aftermarket signals but how the heck can they work with the wiring not hooked-up? but there are about five loose wires. do you know if any of them will effect a low/no spark situation? which ones go to the clutch lever switch? this could be my problem...

it should run strong all the way to redline. i'm betting that you were running lean.

that's why i jumped on it when i saw the ad. after i get it running, i'll paint it with some Xriallic black that i just bought and will likely do some other mods. i like the way they look stripped down.
