I am looking at buying another CB750. Do all of the SOHC bikes have the same frame? I found a good deal on a 1978 but don't like the tank and seat. What would it take to make 1978 look like a 1975 as far as the tank, seat and side covers? I like the older tanks and would probably put a cafe...
Nice intro. I can't help you much with the tire selection, but I'm wondering why you're having a hard time getting the bike upright. Is your kickstand bent? How much does the bike lean over? It shouldn't be any harder than the 1100 you have.
I don't get what is going on for most of that video. What was he trying to do? I would have liked to hear it idle more and then hear it rev to the limiter a couple of times.
I would think so. I'm pretty sure with air lines that a restriction at the start of line will affect everything after it and a restriction at the end isn't as bad. Maybe fluids work the same way? I wish I knew more about fluid dynamics.
Thanks for the information! I thought cafe bikes were stripped down to race from cafe to cafe so you wouldn't want a huge tank full of fuel. Maybe I shouldn't call them cafe bikes but race replicas?
I used this process to clean up an old vise several years ago. It took forever but it worked pretty good. I never thought about using it for gas tanks. I'll have to try that out.
