Hi everybody. I've done some searching on exhaust interchange between the DOHC and SOHC and it seems that in theory there is some interchange with the main difference being that the DOHC pipes will hang down further due to the deeper wet sump.
Has anybody ever actually tried this? I'm working...
Pulled these pipes from a 76 that I am working on. The lower left basically disintegrated upon removal, both uppers have a few holes that could most likely be patched, and the lower right is in good shape with no visible holes but it does have some rust spots. I do also have the lower left...
These are still sitting around, somebody make me an offer!
I may be heading up to the Colorado Springs area early July and should be able to through em in the car...

Yep. The southwest's version of road salt. I've lost entire wiring harnesses, air cleaners, seats, carpets... I don't know how much money I've lost to pack rats. Hate 'em with a passion.
Haven't pulled the tank yet so I cant say for sure but it doesn't look like the furry little bastards got to it. The seat damage is plain 'ol Arizona sun. Seats of bikes left out in the open have a life of two or three years and this one has been sitting since the '80s.
