Gofast Innovations is giving away their JIS screwdriver set, impact driver set, and 8-piece impact driver bit set to one lucky CB750.com member! If you're working on vintage Japanese motorcycles, you need to be using Japanese Industrial Standard (JIS) drivers.

The Search function has been upgraded. It should provide more relevant results. It has something called word stemming where a search for oils would also search for oil, oiled, oiling, etc. Give it a try if you haven't used it in a while.
I'm excited to announce that CB750.com has been updated to use XenForo software! This brings the site up-to-date with huge improvements using the site on mobile phones, as well as on your computer. Some immediate changes you may notice is the ability to like posts, tag people in posts, and the...
I've been tweaking the settings for the site to try to stop all of the recent spam we've been getting. I accidentally checked a wrong box so all new posts were placed into the moderation queue. Sorry about that! Everything should be back to normal for existing members.
I've been wanting a lift table for a very long time. I always thought I'd get a Handy lift because I've used them before and I know they're tough. I've been keeping an eye on Craigslist for a while and not much is popping up so It looks like I'll be buying new. I don't want the Harbor Freight...
Anyone watch Gold Rush? I love all the gold shows.
Todd Hoffman looked totally coked out during the live finale. It was really distracting to the show.
Was anyone following the sandcast CB750 that just sold on ebay for $10,300?

Well here she is. I finally got around to pulling this out of the shed the other day.
I know it's really rough, and that's why I've been neglecting to start this project. And I have other project bikes I need to finish. I got it real cheap last fall. It has a title but the guy I got it...

Nice bike. What do you guys think it'll sell for? It's already going for more than I can afford.
So I changed the tire on my buddy's SV1000 the other day, and I need to change both tires on my CB750, XS650, and FZ1, as well as un-mount a couple of other tires. I changed the SV1000 tire on the garage floor with some 2x4s and tire levers. What a pain in the ass. I've done it before a few...
Here's a good video for checking valve clearances on the DOHC CB750s. It's relevant for the Honda CB750, CB900, and CB1000. It doesn't cover the cam positions that well, but it shows you how to measure the clearances and remove the shims.

What do you think this one will go for...
I've posted on other sites about using electrolysis to clean rusty gas tanks, and today I used the same process in a tub to cleaning some steel (and actually remembered to take pics), so I thought I'd share both setups here...
Here's the setup to clean gas tanks:
You need a sacrificial...

I thought I'd show you guys what I've been up to over the weekend (and a couple of nights last week).
Last spring I got some heavy steel plates off of Craigslist to use as a top for a smallish welding/fixture table. Here's a picture of them on the temporary stand I made when I first got...
