I want to put spoked wheels on my 1979 CB750L what are my best options? I’ve seen new custom sets online that are super expensive. It’s really hard to find a set of used wheels with the hubs and everything else I need. Can’t find them anywhere. What should I do?

I was wondering if this was the case. I’ve done extensive searching online and have only found reproduction OEM tanks that are SPENDY holy cow.

Does anyone know of any replacement aftermarket gas tanks that fit these bikes? Maybe in a different style? I’d like it to be large capacity like the OEM 5.3 gallon tanks that come with the bike.

I just emptied the oil on my bike today and found tons of small metal shavings. Does this look like a problematic amount?

I rebuilt and bench synced these carburetors myself. I had them on my bike and running. I went through them and repaired/cleaned everything they needed. $$$? Open to any offers.

Those are what my shocks look like.

I’m not so sure those aren’t stock shocks. Because I’d bet have the same exact ones on my bike. When googling old promo images of the 750L, I’ve seen that they had different shocks in different images. As well as different front brake master cylinders.

It was definitely just a bit of oil splatter. It came right off easy. The surface looks and feels flush. I couldn’t find any gouges or anything.
