I swapped the forks and swingarm out for a CB550. Plus installed shorty shocks. Course the kick stand is iffy, and center stand is very difficult. I'm five, nine as well with 31". Also have had both knees replaced. Which kinda feels like I'm even shorter. Just keep her running well, and you...

Those are open exhaust pipes aren't they? If so, you'll have to go up a larger slow idle jet. I had the same pipes, cut off like that, and I could never get it to idle. So I went with a set of stainless steel DelKevic 4-1.

Ok, all done. Swingarm, front forks, and shortened fender. First ride, and she rode smooth. Tire did not rub the fender, with my fat azz 212lbs.

First ride after CB550 front forks, rear swingarm, and shortened rear fender. Rode smooth, no rubbing of the fender. I'm 212lb and rode nicely.

Finally went for a ride with the new to me parts installed. CB550 front forks, swing arm, and shorty shocks, with shortened rear fender. I'm 212, and it rode smooth for me. Didn't rub the fender once.
