I will admit i have no experience with SpeedMotorCo´s manifold but just looking at it it looks like trash to be honest, it is jsut three cut tubes welded together and that makes for very sharp corners in the manifold which will definetly cause a lot of turbulance, good for torque, but horrible...

Alan do you happen to know what the setup is for your carbs? i mean like jet sizes, turns for idle and air mix, power jet size if equipped, thatd be appreciated

Thanks! Its a 1980 C, I can post the file here but It might not work with any carbs, since the pwk is a flatslide its shorter so on a round slide it might hit the frame, let alone have space for ITBs or a filter, but idk, u can try it if u want Its supposed to attach to the carb with a TPU...

sounds like lean definetly, your carb bowls are probably not filing up to where they should be, you said you they are clean so maybe during the disassemble nd assemble the float prob got misadjusted Is this a consistent issue? happens everytime or jsut something that happens once in a while? def...
