Not used JB weld yet, I read somewhere that someone had used it with a .45 caliber shell (slid over the main jet housing) and it seems to have worked.
Floats and float valves are all new, I have also checked bowls and overflow tubes for leaks.

Yes that's how I have done mine, all four were leaking from the overflows when I first got the bike. Now only 2 with the worst being the one with the cracked jet housing.

I have ordered brass pipes but so far the outer diameter is too wide to fit between the jet housings.
I have attached the resin info for you (not tried it yet due to trying to find the correct pipe)
Give me a couple of weeks and I will update you on the results.
