I had the gas leak problem when I rebuilt mine because I used the old floats. The sides were wore where they are plastic and not metal and adjustable. Bought new floats and that fixed the leaks. If you get a chance, send me a picture of your carbs if you can get a decent angle of the bottom.

So I have a nighthawk and see very little on here about these. It has sit for 29 years and I got it running. But I'm looking for rear shocks and maybe a different front suspension. Does anyone know the rear shock specs and will parts interchange between this model and the s/f/k bikes?

I can not find decent parts. Like the piece that holds the throttle tube or a perch for the clutch lever.

Thanks. I got another question. The front brake lever and master cylinder are gone and the throttle assembly is busted. Where is the best place to get those parts. I found a lot of 7/8 masters cylinders but I don't really know what I am looking for.
