    Yeah Hi! I always wondered about the speedo reading faster than I was actually going. I've gotten used to it ,and like you I used Google maps to see how far off speedometer reads. I can live with it. Back when I first rode it I was getting tailgated...now I go like hell...hahaha

    Little bit black

    KB here, I'm eager to ride my 73 cb750k3 again after a long winter. I rebuilt the clutch, got a new front tire, and actually drilled holes in the front brake disc. Test drove it and runs and stops great. No squeeky brake now. One problem, now the #1 cylinder has some blow by around the head...

    As for gas tank issues, I've cleaned a few with vinegar by letting it soak and shaking once in a while. You can put BB's or even penny's in to help get corrosion out if really bad. Then after a day or two, stop the acidic effect of the vinegar with baking soda, rinse with water, dry thoroughly...

    I too have a clutch I've taken apart in my 73cb750k3, and the "clutch plate stopper ring" and "clutch plate A" as shown in the Clymer manual are not there. The lifter plate casting has one corner broke by the spring, I'm wondering if it broke because of missing parts, but if some clutch...
