If I am reading the cautions correctly, I cannot swap a shim from a tight #1intake with a loose #2exhaust, unless I have an extra shim to hold #1's spot while I rotate to #2's spot. ?

Fuse looks different from any fuse you had seen before? On my '80 cb750K. the fuse box is on the left side....:sneaky: It is marked by the word "FUSE".

Potentially Dumb Question (PDQ). Could a guy shave his original shim down in order to open his valve clearance? I did not say should.

I like Creworks analog controls, 15 liter is in the Cart. Now , the chemical cleaner, quite pricey. I would hate to buy gallons of the stuff. This is where someone with experience would supply a recipe to make a home brew cleaner for the ultrasonic.

Is 10L large enough? Creworks?

U might be on it. I once had a brake line that would only fail while under pressure, by creating a rubber bubble in the hose lining. Weird to diagnose. Evidence disappears when system is static.

I have an idea about your rattle. Please look for an 8mm, short, six pt. 1/4 drive socket, maybe trapped between the frame and the coils. Or, maybe the same socket is trapped near the rear of the starter cover. If you find that sucker, message me and I will give you my address so you can mail it...

Interesting, fer shur, Do you know if there is any kind of temperature regulation, ie thermostat, in the system? Also the "Distribution plate" is mentioned in some of the descriptions of the swap. I am also hoping some one will share some pics of the hoses installed on the CB900. Thanks

We are just sharing ideas. Zero need for apologies. I did notice one jet dips deeper into the bowl, than the other(s).

A layer of water in the bowl displaces gas in the bowl(s). When Level, the jet(s) pick up x amount of fuel, y amount of water. When Leaning, stopping, or on the sidestand, the water layer is sloshed to the side of the bowl, exposing the jet(s) to a purer layer of fuel. I never said anything...

I don't plan on pulling the trigger on the oil cooler until A) Overheating presents a problem, or B) I run out of Stock things to fix. I should live so long! I first looked at the CB900 pan and pump upgrade swap, but finding a set of hoses seems daunting. Also, it appeared the routing of those...
