    All 4 carbs overflowing

I have found some of the aftermarket parts for these bikes to be junk, even some parts from a reputable source like 4 into 1. Check https://www.ronayers.com/ and https://www.sudco.com/carburetors.html also tuning help http://www.shiny-red.net/guides/keihin-carburetor-jetting/

    Cylinder 3 not firing

If you have an ohm meter check wires 2-3 and 1-4 should be around 23k ohms. Check my post in this thread. https://www.cb750.com/threads/cdi-ignition-module.9296/

    Carb boot struggle

Yes but I have done a lot of other mods so it pretty much a package. Check my post in this thread. https://www.cb750.com/threads/cdi-ignition-module.9296/

    Carb boot struggle

Runs much cleaner - crisper than stock and much easier to tune. That said your engine needs to be solid, exhaust in good shape, ignition strong, valves adjusted to spec. But then all that should already be sorted out. Much better all around running bike. The stock cv carbs suck and are a pain...

    Carb boot struggle

No, CR special. Expensive yes, but one of the best mods you can do to these bikes. https://www.keihin-fcr.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=605

    Carb boot struggle

I have CR carbs with pods on both my 750 and 900 and have never needed anything other than the boots as carb support. Just my experience.

    Puzzled by my rear wheel

Good lord, like I have said many times another lesson for posting in this group know how the vehicle is meant to operate and start with the basics.

    Puzzled by my rear wheel

Looks to me like both bikes are "bent" Look at the chain alignment on the white bike and the blue bikes looks to have a bent tube in the rear section. I might pull the seat off of my CB and see what it looks like.

    This may seem odd...

The 900 had better brakes and more power but it just did not handle as good as the 750. I put a good amount of effort into the suspension ignition on the 750 but was unwilling to do the same level on the 900 it was never more than a project for me to see if I could bring a bike back from the...

    Carb boot struggle

Ron Ayers can still get them and everything else you need. I use 4 into 1 but things like ignition, brakes, carb I realy try to stay with OEM if possible. https://www.ronayers.com/oemparts/a/hon/506f7b95f8700229747b8517/cylinder-head

    This may seem odd...

I had a 80 CB750F when they first came out absolutely loved that bike but ended up selling it and only riding dirt for the next 35 years. Picked up a fairly clean 80 750F a couple of years ago and spent time tuning and setting it up for me. Put a few thousand into the suspension, carbs, and...

    Carb boot struggle

There are different part #"s for the boots.I bought a set of aftermarket boots and I never got them work so I ended up replacing them with the big dollar OEM boots. I used WD 40 on the boots and make sure those clamps are out the, even remove them completely prior to install.

    1979 cb 750k RC01 ignition issues

I have seen a lot of posts like this one. My first thought is, guys prior to looking for answers on the internet learn how these systems are meant to work, get a good shop manual and a good meter. When the OP asks about the points, condenser I cringe. Check my post in this thread...

    Misfiring and puffing sound

Both. Those ports are to install vacuum gauges to balance the carbs. 24&30. https://www.ronayers.com/oemparts/a/hon/506f7b95f8700229747b8517/cylinder-head

Check your coil voltage on the positive side and at the battery. Read my reponce in this thread. https://www.cb750.com/threads/cdi-ignition-module.9296/

    Cdi ignition module

I have a 1980 CB750F and a 1982 CB900F that I have been messing with. They both had carb and ingnition issues that were driving me crazy. I fixed the carb issues with a set of Keihin CR carbs, expensive yes but they are better than the crazy complicated stock carbs. I was going to try the Murray...

Where to Start-1979 750f Super Sport? Carb/Compression or both?

Make sure it's charging,14.5 volts above idle. My 900 did that exact thing, Turned out to be the stator.

I know nothing about this bike. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/104130926289978/?hoisted_items=705552474832727 Mine was origanly black but it was in very poor condition. Also mine will be up for sale again when the weather improves and it is a very good running bike.

    Exhaust compatability

I am not positive but I think the last year for the CB900 was 1982, 1983 CB1000 and CB1100, 1984 was the first year of the VF series. If it is a 1982 CB900F it is the same exhaust, at least my 1980 CB750F and 1982 CB900F use the same Delkevic 4 into 1. https://www.ronayers.com/

    750c and 900c Project

So I bought a 1982 CB900F Super Sport in boxes and was planing on building it as a project to replace my 1981 CB750F Super Sport but as it turns out I like the 750 better so the 900 is for sale. The previous 900 owner started the project over 10 years ago and powder coated the frame, rebuilt...

    Steel braided brake line

In the image of the two lines the longest has a silver piece on one end. Does a banjo bolt thread into it? If it does there is your answer. Connect the shorter line to it. The original routing looks funky to me me but checking some diagrams it is correct. This is for a 79 F...
