Hi all,
I am cleaning the carbs from my barn find. I am using Sean's manual
and everything is going good but I can't seem to clear the slow speed jet on carb 2. Was able to on the other three carbs. Ultrasonic two-thirds times, used the e string (got it down about 1.25 inch).used at least a...
This barn find has not been registered since 2011. Paid less than 200 for it did compression test (about 128) not bad next sprayed starting fluid and it ran. I am attempting the carb cleaning and rebuild 🤞worst case scenario I will send to shop to get done. Fortunately no major rush for this...
Good luck two dogs. Good looking bike. I am working on this 80 cb750 barn find I bought in November.
I am learning as I go and have never seen the inside the inside of a carburetor before this. But I bet your carbs are in better shape (see pics). Like dirt digger said they are a pia lol. Search...
Thanks but I seem to have a rattle after reassembling #4 thought it might be the needle from top puck don’t know. I will probably open it up again to figure it out lol
This morning I cleaned the number four carb. Took my time(I am a newbie) but after putting carb #4 back together I noticed a rattle. Tomorrow I will open it up but was wondering if this is normal.
Maybe the needle from top puck?
lol I am lost. Any help would be appreciated
Thanks
Paul
Spent the morning starting the rebuild and cleaning carburetors. Never seen the inside of a carburetor but u tube and manual giving it a shot. With any luck this 1980 750 will come back to life . If not I will send it to a shop lol

So after 24 hours since spraying pb blaster
I was able to remove the secondary main jet emulsion tube. Absolutely freezing here in New Hampshire (17 degrees in my shed lol) but feels good to have done it.
Thanks Sean for the great manual.

Good evening everyone,
An absolute newbie when it comes to carburetors but I am learning.
I separated the number four carburetor to start the clean and rebuild (this is a barn find that has not been registered since 2012) I am having trouble removing the secondary main jet emulsion tube. I...
Sorry I don’t have an answer for you because I’m a newbie 750c owner like you. But I assure you that you are not alone with rodent problem. These are a couple pictures to give you a omg smile 😂

This is what I found after removing and dropping the bowls from my garage find that hasn’t been registered since 2011.
lol this is going to be fun and interesting.
But compression test was ok 128 or so and will probably be a little better when tested warmed up and the mmo has a chance to work in...
Ok don’t laugh to much. Yesterday I bought a(1980 cb750custom) 100.00 dollars why not? Hasn’t been registered since 2011.
Better than it going to scrap yard.
Took tank off and looked under it and the tank said 80 cb650c. Wtf? So started researching the vin number and it started rc01 which I...
Hi all,
I picked up a 750c that was heading to the scrap. I paid 100.00 for it. The rear wheel was frozen so when I got it home I released the brake adjustment screw and the other rod that holds it stationary. The bike’s last registration was don’t laugh 2010. I got into my shed and actually...
