Hey Buddy, I'm a noob here myself. Have you unplugged the plug to the headlight and put a volt meter probe on the main pin of that plug with the power on to verify power to that point? I have a 76 cb 750 f and I believe mine has a dedicated fuse for the head light.

Wheel ring re chromed by Kyron Plating and off to the shop for re lacing.. I purchased new spokes from CB 750 Supply and a Bridgestone Battleax rear tire from Motorcycle Superstore.. Hooah!

Hey Bud, You are correct, They are form fitted rubber grommets that the prongs on the side cover lock into... We have local recycling yards here and I usually am able to find them on a scrap bike. Post in the classifieds here, maybe you'll get lucky....
