    Adding to my earlier post below - Once above 3500rpm., the engine pops, spits and bangs and lurches. Lacking power. I thought it was due to the carb switching to the main jet and becoming too lean. I was just about to increase to a 105 mainjet, when I read your post. Any advice would be appreciated.

    I read with interest you reply regarding fitting pods on a cb750. You mentioned that when you fit pods the mixture becomes richer. Is this due to the increased air flow through the carburettor, drawing more fuel ? My CB has pods fitted. Standard are102, this has 98 fitted
