I looked at mine, and the swing arm seems okay. I don't like the frame missing under the tank. The more I see bobbers, the more I like what Honda built. Maybe it's an old man thing.

This thread might help...1981 cb750k Carb fuel line routing. I'm not sure if you need vacuum for your fuel flow. I bypassed my vacuum switch to fill the carb bowls for my first start.

I was afraid to drill into anything. I didn't break anything so far. It looks so rotten that I sympathize with the person who broke this. I was able to use the corrosion divots to attach the wire. No pic of that.
