I'm impressed. I did get the unit out of the plastic case by slowly bending each tab that is bent over the plastic case. That way you can rebend them down after you do the repairs. You are talking to a guy with fat fingers and I don't think I would be able to do what you did. Maybe I can find...
Saw on YouTube where guy soldered wire that broke off in front so I got inners of tach out of housing but those wires look connected. You wouldn't have a picture of this inner spring to shaft would you? Did you have to take the plastic apart?
Anyone have a tach that may have been damaged in accident or broken glass. I want the internals that are or were working when tach was damaged. Or do you know of anyone that rebuilds the tach circuit board?
I'm in. Can you still buy the turn signal stalk for a 92' CB 750. Time has just taken it's toll on the rubber parts. Just need the flexible parts not the whole signal for front and rear turn signals
I had same problem with 92' and found carbon around butterflies. Use a good carb cleaner on that area after taking carbs off bike. My bike ran fine at upper rpms but had to slip clutch and a lot of gas off idle before cleaning now runs right off idle. My bike has 26K on it. I had to use choke...
