Hi, I have a K4, how can I make sure my spring tensioner does the job. I adjust the bolts during the cam chain adjustment procedure. But no difference . I also inserted a small Alen key in the hole in order to check any return tension, but nothing. Will I have to remove and clean the whole cam...

Noise is really coming from the engine

Sorry for the delay, yes indeed noise is still present, but i would say less than before.

Bolts were not tight …what a lousy mech.

hi Brett, Chain is now ok but noise is still there. i have a short video but can not post it.

Thanks Brett, indeed only when decelarating, exhaust have been restored and are fine. it is a one and going thing in french the word is cliquetis...if that can help. as it is light.

Hi all, my 74, runs and starts great. But I have an issue , when I decelerate at slow speed, I can hear a sort of light engine knocking, that immediately stops when accelerate again. It only happens when decelerating. Can anyone help me Merci.

Qaxe, Yes indeed it is the bike. Thing is , when I lower idle with warm engine. It will not be enought when engine is cold. After 15 min rides idle is always going up my */- 1000 rpm. Thus I will try to fix idle with warm engine and let you know the results. Thanks

Hi Jarret, Here are the pipes after surgery. it is what it is, but It's better to cut off your hand than wait and have to cut off your arm. and the good thing everything is under the bike so you see nothing unless you go under. I should be fine for another 10 years.
