I've been looking for about a year now. They occasionally pop-up, but so far they've been in worse shape than my set. I've explored getting them re-chromed, but shops won't take pipes that have corrosion because it corrupts the plating bath.

Hi All, I'm trying to restore a 79K to original condition. Apparently, no OEM or re-manufactured 4-2-4 pipes exist. I do have a set of corroded OEM pipes though. Does anyone know of a fabricator who could use the OEM pipes as a template to build new ones? Thanks! -Doug

I recently purchased a 1979 CB750K and along with the bike came the original exhaust (it has a Kerker 4-1 installed currently). I'd like to restore the bike to its original configuration. A couple problems to overcome: It's a bit rusty, and I've only found a single shop willing to re-chrome it...
