1983 Honda CB750SC Fuel Inlet Valve (Vacuum??)

Sorry for late reply. All the petcock has is a spot to connect fuel line from petcock to carb. Last pic is the fuel inlet vacuum thingy. Ik there are vacuum things on the petcock but mine is not like that.

1983 Honda CB750SC Fuel Inlet Valve (Vacuum??)

No I don’t have to at all. I tried bypassing it already. How would I go about doing that.? When I did it, no fuel would go into the pipe fitting. Idk if it’s bc the bike wasn’t starting at that point. I had just got her started (have a previous post as to why she wasn’t starting). She only...

1983 Honda CB750SC Fuel Inlet Valve (Vacuum??)

Can somebody tell me how this gets put back together. I’ve had it put two different ways, but gas is still not going through!? This routes from the petcock to the carburetors. I’ve looked it up as much as I could, how the fuel line goes & vacuum line & air vent line… my bike starts but I’ve had...

Found out she wasn’t getting fuel, manually put gas in fuel bowels & she started but was high on rpms at 4k right away & started smoking(white smoke). Shut her off, waited, tried again n not start. Then bypassed the vacuum valve thingy, just...

    83 Honda CB750SC

Only time it started was when I manually put gas in the fuel bowls. After did this, she started but was idling at 4k rpms and then started spewing white smoke from the engine not the exhaust. I shut her off then tried to start her again but she didn’t want to start again. I then bypassed the...

Well they have to be I would think, when I first replaced the spark plugs, that was right after I did oil change n cleaned gas tank, she started right up & I rode her all day & for a couple days after that. Right after I cleaned & rebuilt carbs is when I started having this problem. So it’s...

    83 Honda CB750SC

So I’m a first time bike owner. I found a ‘83 CB750 on marketplace, got it for $325. Reason being so low, the guy got a new bike(Harley) & he had originally lost the keys back in 2020. I got it in the beginning of March, so she sat for a good while. I got new keys made, did an oil change...
