I actually just threw it back together enough to run the motor again. Someone pointed out that I may not have let the motor run long enough to actually let the rings expand. I killed it and did the compression test because it was smoking from all 4 pipes and i guess I've just convinced myself...

I have a similar situation, but my compression went UP with wet compression test. Lowest cylinder was 60 dry/85 wet. Highest was 90 dry/ 110 wet. My valve gaps are all loose and the engine runs, but rough and smokes a bit from all cylinders. I bought this bike from a guy who basically kept it...
