It's always best to measure them yourself. I have a 35mm and 40mm forks on the same year bike. Take a piece of tape, and wrap it around the fork and mark the edge of the tape. Take it off and measure the length, and divide by 3.141.

Installing the new rotors and chain. I have to take out a few links before that's done. After that, I'll go back to the front wheel and see about getting the rotors on and see what kind of spacers I'm missing. 18 front 43 rear.

Thanks for reading. I took apart some plug wires and coils I had on a spare bike, and was a little surprised how the wires are installed. I just want to make sure I have it right. Are the wires really just clipped and stripped back to the conductor, then held in place inside the stock coil...

Thank-you, Looks like the PO didn't have a spacer on the sprocket side, so I'll salvage one off the parts bike and see if that looks better. More pics later. Little bit of work to do to get the rear wheel out of the part bike w/o a center stand.

You need to do a leak down. Create a fitting you can attach an air compressor to, then with the cylinder you choose, make sure the valves are closed and then pressurize the cylinder. You will know once and for all if you have a piston ring seal. Do not exceed the rated cylinder compression.

Working on engine a little, getting her cleaned up.

Cleaned some parts. Ready for paint. I ordered some brass brushes for the dremel to get into the fins of the engine. I soda blasted the whole thing, but I want to get in there a little better to clean it out, then paint. Here are a couple pics.

I just stand behind the bike, grab both frame rails and lift the back end straight up. Then kick the center stand down with my left foot. :) Good advice though, putting the rear tire on a board.
