    Neutral switch not grounding to shift drum

    The neutral switch also acts as a locating dowel for the shift drum. Does the switch push all the way to the bottom and the little retainer plate sit fairly flat? You should be able to look in the hole and ensure the shift drum slot is centralised

    K2 cam timing

    Ok I discovered the problem the chain wasn't running true. I pulled the camshaft back out and looked down the front side and I could see it was off to one side. I shoved a large screwdriver down to wedge it over and rotated forward a few turns to get it running true.

    i know the procedure is pretty easy and obvious but one way or the other it is half a bolt width out

    I'm putting my rebuilt K2 back together but the camshaft sprocket bolt won't line up. Either way I go it's half a bolt width out. I've rotated the crank through 720° but still the same. New chain. Help please.
