I know the F caliper mount does not work with the kz1000 caliper though as the F caliper mount came with the swingarm and I tried to use it but the kz 1000 caliper is physically too big for the F mount

    1978 cb750k project redemption

Have been able to do a bit of work on the bike. Mounted the kz1000 LTD front end. One of my Brothers hooked me up with the front fender, front calipers and lines as well as master cylinder. I also made a trident sissy bar for it, which for my first time making one I am real happy how it...

    1978 cb750k project redemption

The new triple tree top clamp showed up and it fits perfectly. A lot cleaner than the original top clamp. Once I know for sure how I am mounting the speedo and tach I will remove the excess mounts to clean it up some more. The new top clamp is off a 1981 kz1000 CRS. The rest of the front end...

    1978 cb750k project redemption

Well it was Christmas and I stumbled across this top triple trees off an 1981 CRS kz1000 on ebay. The CRS shares a lot of similarities with the kz1000 ltd but was stripped down. Both had 38mm forks and comparing the top triple tree I have off the kz1000 ltd and the pictures it should be the same...

    1978 cb750k project redemption

Hello all, I picked up this 1978 cb750k as a runner but it turned out to need a lot of work. The compression was low and after taking the engine out and tearing down the top end I found the cylinders were out of spec. The plan is a 836cc as well as a cam depending on which 836cc kit I use will...

Need help with weither to use resister plugs

Will do. Will be waiting on the parts to show up for a bit. I will be installing the coils first then the electronic ignition to see if there is any noticeable changes.

Need help with weither to use resister plugs

I may have found my answer. As long as I have 5k resistance in the wires I will be good with non resistor plugs. The wires are measuring 6-7k resistance. So I should be good running D8EA plugs.

Need help with weither to use resister plugs

Hello, I have on route a pair of knock off 5 ohm coils as well as electronic ignition for my 1978 cb750k. I also have on hand a set of suppression spark plug wires and D8EA plugs. I am wondering should I run a resister plug instead with the coils, ignition and suppression wires? Thank you

Slow go is not a bad way to do it. I am tight on money so this is the only way I build.

I am selling my Harley cause I can't afford the cost of it all. Planning on getting into a 1978 cb750k. Compared to the Harley it is cheap but looking around it still costs to play.

I just hauled home my winter project 77 cb750k somebody got busy with the rattle can.

Nail polish remover on a rag gently might do the trick.

New here. Looking to buy a cb750 sohc.

Hello, I had a 79 as well as an 80 cb750 dohc. Been riding Harleys for the last number of years. Very over it. I was given my current Harley by my father otherwise I would still be riding my saber 1100. Looking to sell my Harley and buy a 1978 cb750k I have my eye on with approximately 14,000...
