    Cb750 k1 frame dimensions?

I just got my hands on a bare cb750 k1 frame and I'm rebuilding it as a Frankenstein bike. I have plans to put my brothers vulcan 1500 engine in it but I am unsure if it will fit. Does anybody have a diagram or know the measurements of the frame? Thanks in advance.

    Pulse generator wire question

Yea I know the yellow wires goes to the unit for 2/3 and blue goes to the unit for 1/4. I added the wiring diagram I'm following. I just need to know if I wired the 2 yellow wires backwards going into the spark unit for 2/3 does it matter? Or does it act more just like a switch where polarity...

    Pulse generator wire question

Do you know if the yellow and blue wires that go to the spark units have polarity? I'm currently rewiring my 80 cb750c. I have black, green, 2 yellow and 2 blue. I know the yellows go to one unit and blue goes to the other but I don't know if I can accidently wire them backwards

I got everything routed. Only thing I'm trying to figure out is if the polarity on the pulse generator to the spark units or if it even matters.

    Pulse generator questions

I'm rewiring my 1980 cb750c and I'm wondering if the pulse generator has polarity going to the spark units. The wire colors coming out of the pulse generator are black and green (which aren't used in the new harness. I believe they are for the neutral light.) then 2 yellow and 2 blue. The...

The Great Headlight Mystery turned Wire Harness Rebuild

Yes. All lighting on my bike is now working. (Atleast what I wired in, no oil or neutral light, blacklighting for the gauges, etc.) Just have to fabricate some mounts for the switches, the new key and my temporary tail lights tomorrow. I was having a little issue with the starter/ignition...

    Can you identify this plug?

Is it possible that it is the pulse generator? Cause 6 wires seems a bit high for just an oil and neutral sensor

The Great Headlight Mystery turned Wire Harness Rebuild

Right? Fuck me for trying to build a project bike. Why would you want to grow your knowledge and learn new skills? Just stay ignorant and unhelpful right? By the way, total time it took to build without going and getting components was 2 hours.

The Great Headlight Mystery turned Wire Harness Rebuild

Surprisingly easy. I wired everything up off the bike with temporary connections to make sure everything worked. And tomorrow after work I'm making a bracket for new ignition, lights etc. And mounting it to the bike. Even added in some led tail lights too.

    Can you identify this plug?

Im rewiring my 1980 honda cb750 and I can't figure out what this pigtail goes to. Red 6 pin pigtail. Wire colors are black, green, 2 yellow and 2 blue. The Great Headlight Mystery turned Wire Harness Rebuild

I checked all the switches again today, I rechecked the switches today and now I'm not even getting power out of the main harness to the front assembly at all. I was hoping the issue wasn't in the main harness but it looks like it is so I'm gonna just make a bare bones harness. I should be able...

The Great Headlight Mystery turned Wire Harness Rebuild

I did, I cut out the splice and repaired all wires, checked and rechecked all fuses,, Still nothing. So since its seeming like I'm going to have to tear into the main harness, I want to go ahead and remove pretty much everything, entire gauge cluster (I'm getting new gauges and will wire them...
