    low idle

Though I'm told this is normal, at low idle my K5 has a slight clicking noise. Hard to define but think I hear it most in top of crankcase, and think I can slightly feel it on top of case cover. The bike runs great, but I'm concerned about the noise whenever I start it cold. Seems to...

    Cleaning up the engine

I wonder too if the 'splotching' is in a clear coat, and if there is any way to help with this short of repainting?

Does this color look correct ?

Still . . . looks pretty sweet. Reminds me of the helmets at that time.

    back to stock bars

I agree w/you LostTraveler. I'm not that much a purist that I need to have every bolt and washer exact. I just ordered a pre-fab seat wrap with the silver Honda label on back for like $40 bucks. This thing came with dual horns mounted on the front and they are SUPER LOUD. Like having your...

    back to stock bars

Yeah that's what I did. Was concerned I would screw up the wiring while pulling it through, or that it would be more difficult. Although it certainly wasn't what I would call fun . . . it wasn't a horrible exercise. And glad that all the control box angles/grips line up well. I might drill...

    Let's see your CB750

I would give the fairing to someone if they were close. The pipes are really that clean, pretty amazing. Spent evening changing back to stock bars and grips. Even got a stock horn, those on the bike were nice and super loud, but I'm after nothing but the original.

    Let's see your CB750

Bought my first CB750four a week ago - 1975. Couldn't wait to strip all that road stuff off, found a nice bike underneath. Bit of a tune-up after sitting covered for a long time - I Love It! Been riding a 1971 CB350 for a long time, this is quite a change . . . but feels very familiar in a...
