No not really. If you are in a very hot climate or a lot of low speed riding it would help. I run them on big bore motors but they make a lot more heat. If you have a stock motor and not racing it is not really necessary.

As above...and if your oil cooler isnt thermostat controlled.....on shorter trips it might be detremental to engine operation....people used to actually use covers/plates on non-thermostat controlled coolers in cool climates in yesteryear....

it was meant as stated. The oil cooler will help keep engine temps manageable during low speed riding when air flow is not sufficient for cooling.....stop and go traffic, etc. The center cylinders like to get very hot when not moving.

The temperature in summer rises to a maximum of 30 degrees Celsius, regularly it is at 25
I wouldnt worry about an oil cooler unless like stated you do a lot of town riding or on the opposite....very hard riding.
