    When the temperature drops pretty cool my 1995 Nighthawk increases rpms at idle when driving. Normal is 1000 then it jumps up to 1800 to 2000.     Rear Drum Brake Issue

    Rebuilding a 1995 Nighthawk, My rear drum brake will not brake hard even with the new brake shoes I installed. Is this common? I would have thought you could lock up the rear brake but I cannot do it on mine. Anyone else have this issue and if you corrected how did you do it? Thanks!

    Weird Issue

    You didn't mention if you checked the ignition switch. A friends ignition switch went bad, same results you are having. Pull headlight, find the two wires to the switch, stick a needle or straight pin through the wires and see if you get power.

    Slow Jet? \ Pilot Jet?

    Rebuilding carbs, 1995 CB750 Nighthawk. I have 2 manuals. In the carb breakdown the jet I am concerned with says it is a Slow Jet the other a Pilot Jet.
