Found an old engine and in the photos there is a spacer labeled MRE between the block and the clutch housing. Does anyone know what this is?
1980 DOHC for a custom
After a year of wearing a modular I was done with it...there is a lot of extra weight in the mechanisms for the sun visor and the half face that lifts up..
In the grand scheme of things it’s not a lot of weight (maybe 1/2-3/4 lb) but when you’re supporting it with your neck it gets to be a lot...
Looking for a shop that’s knows their vintage Honda 750s in southeast PA...
I’d prefer to go with a recommendation from one of you all over picking randomly...

It’s just a single O ring and yeah they are a bear to get out when they are older...
My 1980 took two pry bars to get it off...thankfully it didn’t break!
If it’s the single hose for the single caliper you will have to take it to a pneumatic hose shop and have one made...I just had to do this after weeks of searching but it’s nice they did a steel braided for me for less than $50...

Everyone I’ve spoken to and the majority of posts say “the carbs are jetted for the airbox” when you throw pods on which increases the amount of air drastically you run into all sorts of issues (not saying it can’t be done but jet swapping...
If you’re referring to the gray between the two metal screens in the picture I have used this on several of my old bikes where the foam deteriorated....it’s cut to size and should work fine...
