    charging system

35 degrees yesterday but pretty nice and dry. Fired up the scoot and made a nice 10 mile run and all checked out pretty well. Cruising along she charges at 13- 14.5 vdc. I was pretty happy, cold but happy. Really hate to put her away. Next week it is supposed to get up into the 40's. Just might...

Made all connections and ran. Checked voltage at battery at 2000 rpm. Read 13.4. Ran up to 3000 rpm and read 14.0...

    what to try next?

You state that you have rebuilt the carbs, new spark plugs, new coils and fuel lines and filters. Have you replaced the points and condensers? Many an ignition problem has been mistaken for a fuel problem. Put in new points and static time them and I bet you will find your problem. Better...

    Ign. fault

Spent most of the late winter an early spring putting my F back together. I finally got a chance to ride and found that after about 20 min. running time 2 and 3 would cut out, after a few min. running on 1 and 4 it would kick back in and run good for quite a while sometimes and other times it...

Hope someone can help me out here real quick I have a cb750f 1977 and I would like to know what seals the threaded insert that screws into the head? The card boots mount to it and they are held secure with clamps. Doesn't it have to be sealed somehow as to prevent it from causing an air...

CB750K1 crank no start, no spark

Maybe I didn"t see it but did you replace the points? I am sure that after 18 years the points are bad. If you did replace them then make sure they are clean with some contact cleaner. New points have a film of rust preventive on the contact surfaces. Chuter
